North Andover's unemployment rate fell below 5 percent in November, as the state's unemployment rate dropped slightly as well.
Locally, the rate dropped from 5.4 percent in October to 4.9 percent in November. This was down from 5.2 percent in November 2011.
Statewide, the November seasonally unadjusted unemployment rate was 6.1 percent, down just 0.1 percent from October, according to the Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development.
