As of Thursday, over 1,600 mail/absentee ballots remained outstanding, Reid said. Over 4,000 ballots were cast during in-person early voting and 7,000 were cast by mail.

Reid said early voting went smoothly.
"Everyone was so patient with us when the lines were a little long, or while they waited for us to sanitize the chairs and voting areas," Reid said. "Even with all the work that goes into those 2 weeks, it really was amazing to see how many of the residents were excited to vote early and to hear their gratitude for the workers who spent many hours helping out over those two weeks."
Over 100 overseas and military residents also requested absentee ballots, which can be returned by email.
