5 Things You Need To Know: Sept. 6

Before you start your day, here are 5 things you need to know:

1. Weather: It's going to be a chilly and rainy day with highs only near 64 degrees. 

2. : Summer may be unofficially over but its fruits and veggies are still in season. Head to Railroad Avenue today at 1 p.m. to stock up.

3. Ice: It may be a little early to think about ice skating but not too early to learn.  will begin this week and they are still accepting sign ups. 

4. Race for Research: A group of students are raising money for the Race for Research. To donate, go to their fundraising page.

5. History: On this day in 1620, the pilgrims set off for the new world.
