Peabody, MA - Dry January is in full swing, and as the trend continues to gain momentum, Brooksby Village, the Erickson Senior Living community in Peabody, MA, is raising the bar—literally—with team-crafted, zero-proof recipes that bring people together in a fresh, flavorful way.

For National Mocktail Week, residents enjoyed mocktails and alcohol-free recipes made with fresh ingredients, seasonal flavors, and a focus on wellness. These aren’t your average “skip the booze” drinks—they’re vibrant, creative, and designed to make Dry January feel like a celebration, not a sacrifice.
Some of the recipes last week included:

  • Blueberry Lemon Spritzer
    • Fresh squeezed lemon juice
    • Blended blueberries
    • Simple syrup
    • Mixed with soda water and ice
  • Winter Break
    • Pineapple juice
    • Cranberry juice
    • Lemon
    • Topped with ginger ale and garnished with lemonade cranberries
  • Hibiscus Mocktail
    • Equal parts Lemonade & Fresca (about 3 ounces each)
    • 1 oz Hibiscus Syrup
    • Garnished with a Candied Hibiscus Flower
