Gas Line Struck on Summit Street

The following is an excerpt from the Peabody Police log:
Tuesday, Nov. 1
- At 2:43 p.m. a black pug was reportedly running in and out of traffic on Lynnfield Street. The pug could not be located by police.
- At 3:07 p.m. police responded to a car accident on Andover Street. There were no injuries.
- At 3:27 p.m. police responded to a minor accident without injuries on Summit Street.
- A tree was removed from the street on Margaret Road at 3:41 p.m.
- A person reported their truck was damaged when it hit a low hanging wire on Margin Street at 7:02 p.m.
- At 8:20 p.m. a resident of Newbury Street reported they may be being stalked.
- A driver reported hitting a cat on Tremont Street at 9:58 p.m. Police found he had actually hit a raccoon. The animal was removed from the roadway.
- One person was transported to the hospital after their car struck a pole on Wallis Street at 10:09 p.m.
- At 10:53 p.m. recycle bins were removed from the middle of Rt. 128.

- At 9:35 a.m. police gave a driver a verbal warning for going the wrong way down Walnut Street.
- A resident of Glendale Avenue called police at 12:12 p.m. to report a cat had entered the home and refused to leave.
- At 12:58 p.m. a construction company struck a gas line on Summit Street. National Grid was called to the scene.
- A tan pitbull mix was found on Foster Street at 1:47 p.m. The dog's owner was later located.
