Man Charged With Lewd, Lascivious Behavior

The following is an excerpt from the Peabody Police log:
Wednesday, Nov. 9
- At 2:17 p.m. a resident of Goldthwaite Place reported $10,000 worth of items stolen from the residence as well as a firearm.
- At 3:11 p.m. police responded to a minor vehicle accident on Lowell Street.
- Police arrested Eswin Deleon, 19, 645 Western Ave., Lynn, and charged him with unlicensed operation after a motor vehicle stop on Lynnfield Street at 3:15 p.m.
- At 4:45 p.m. police responded to a fight between a son and mother on Central Street.
- At 5:09 p.m. police investigated a report of an unwanted salesman on Paul Avenue.
- At 5:45 p.m. a woman called police and told them she had overdosed on prescription medicine.
- At 7:43 p.m. a resident of Aborn Street said his car was egged. The person told police he suspects it's an ex-coworker to blame.
- At 9:57 p.m. police arrested David Melchionno, 22, 11 Dana Road, and charged him with lewd, wanton and lascivious conduct. Police arrested Melchionno after they were flagged down by a man near who said Melchionno was acting suspiciously.

- At 9:29 a.m. police issued a summons to a 35-year-old Peabody man on charges of violating an abuse prevention order and intimidating a witness.
- Robert Nicholas Melville, 28, 205 Lynn St., was arrested on a warrant.
- A juvenile was arrested at 10 a.m. and charged with malicious destruction of property under $250 at the
- At 11:40 a.m. a woman told police she was being followed at the mall and wanted an escort to her car.
- At noon thereported a loose dog in the parking lot.
