Man Found Bleeding on Crane Brook Way

The following is an excerpt from the Peabody Police log. Where charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, Dec. 26

  • At 3:44 p.m. police received a call from the State Police who said two motorists who were involved in a hit and run in Saugus were following the suspected vehicle into the mall parking lot. The two boxed in the suspected driver until police could arrive.
  • At 4:31 p.m. a Coleman Street resident reported an older woman claiming to be from the U.S. Census.
  • Police and EMTs transported a child to Salem Hospital after the child's hand got stuck in a scooter on Garden Road at 4:33 p.m.
  • Police investigated a report of a red laser beam being pointed into cars on Birch Street at 5:34 p.m.
  • At 8:19 p.m. a person was transported to the hospital after falling off a bike on Lowell Street.
  • A resident of St. Anne Ave. reported their home was egged at 8:30 p.m.
  • At 10:40 p.m. kids were reported on Lowell Street, throwing eggs.

Tuesday, Dec. 27

  • At 1:08 a.m. a man called police and said "he was cut" and then hung up. Police responded to Buddha's Tavern but did not find the man or foul play.
  • At 1:12 a.m. a man was found bleeding from the lower extremities and having difficulty walking on Crane Brook Way. He was transported to the hospital.
  • At 3:19 a.m. police received a call about a man looking into vehicles around Dexter Street. When police arrived, the man began to run. Police arrested Erik Krezmien, 18, homeless, and charged him with disorderly conduct, receiving stolen property under $250, two counts of breaking and entering a motor vehicle for misdemeanor and two counts of attempting to commit a crime.
  • At 8:36 a.m. a Peabody woman was issued a summons for domestic assault and battery on Washington Street.
  • At 1:38 p.m. police arrested Andrew Leblanc, 23, 3 Veterans Memorial Drive, and charged him with domestic assault and battery.
