Man Requests Help Controlling Children

Tuesday, Dec. 27
- At 2:15 p.m., a resident reported people climbing in a window to an apartment on Rockdale Park. Police arrived and found out the family had broken the key and was trying to gain access.
- At 5:23 p.m. police responded to a five-car accident on Washington Street.
- At 5:24 p.m. a person reported a man lying on the sidewalk on Central Street. He was gone when police arrived.
- A malnourished looking dog was found on Jordan Road at 6:45 p.m.
- At 8:35 p.m. a resident of Winona Street reported a stolen package.
Wednesday, Dec 28
- At 7:23 a.m. a resident on Winona Street reported his wife was bitten by a neighbor's dog.
- At 11:18 a.m. a woman reported her prescription was stolen from her Central Street residence.
- At 1 p.m. reported a car being shipped out of state was lost or stolen in transit. The car was later found by BMW.
- Police arrested David G. Stankiewicz, 31, 6 Bartholomew Terrace, and charged him with two counts of domestic assault and battery and threat to commit a crime. The arrest was made at 1:21 p.m.
- At 2:21 p.m. a four-car crash was reported on Lowell Street. There were no injuries.
- At 6:16 p.m. a Washington Street resident told police he was having trouble controlling his children and would like an officer to help. An officer attempted to help him.
- At 8:09 p.m. police arrested Edward J. Labbe, 53, 6 Fulton St., Peabody, and charged him with domestic assault and battery.
- At 8:19 p.m. police arrested Steven P. Gaulin, 43, homeless, on a warrant.
- At 9:01 p.m. police received several calls about a woman being thrown out of a car on Dane Street. As a result, police issued a summons for a 38-year-old Peabody man, on charges of domestic assault and battery and using a motor vehicle without authority.

- A loud stereo was reported on 4:30 a.m. in an Essex Lane apartment.
- At 7:04 a.m. Jose Angeli Martinez, 38, 31 Dane St., was arrested on four warrants.
