Man Summonsed After Driving Into Porch

Friday, Sep. 2

  • At 2:08 p.m. police responded to a two-car motor vehicle accident on Andover Street. No one was injured. 
  • At 5:07 p.m., a resident of Lynn Street said they witnessed someone smash their car window and take off running with a wallet containing $900 and credit cards.
  • At 5:18 p.m. a brown chihuahua was found on Putnam Street.
  • At 10:35 p.m. police arrested Eric A. Morriss, 42, 113 Lake St., Peabody, and charged him with two counts of domestic assault and battery.

  • At 5:07 a.m. a resident told police his mother was sending him threatening e-mails. 
  • At 8:11 a.m. a resident of Newcastle Road reported she came home from vacation and found her home had been broken into.
  • Vandalism on motor vehicles was found on Upham Street at 8:12 a.m.
  • Police arrested Miranda Diego De Siqueira, 26, 40 Federal St., Beverly, and charged her with driving without a license and without an inspection sticker. The arrest was made on Forest Street at 12:54 p.m.
  • At 2:46 p.m. a resident reported to police he saw a truck dump something into Springs Pond. Police found a bag of trash in the Lynn side of the pond. 
  • At 3:05 p.m. police summonsed a man for threatening to commit a crime, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, domestic assault and battery and intimidating a witness. 
  • At 3:08 p.m. Moreira Cleber Rogerio, 35, 9 Meadow St., Salem, was arrested and charged with failure to display owner's name, unlicensed driving, failure to appear upon recognizance and on a warrant. 
  • A man was issued a summons on charges of driving with a suspended license, leaving the scene of an accident with personal injury and leaving the scene of an accident with property damage after he
  • At 8:09 p.m. a Peabody man was issued a summons for larceny over $250.
  • At 11:53 p.m. a Lynn man was issued a summons for threatening to commit a crime and making annoying phone calls.

Sunday, Sept. 4 

  • At 12:46 a.m. police arrested Adriana Rocha, 34, and Oronilzo Oliveira, 42, both of 100 Stockton St., Chelsea. Rocha was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, domestic assault and battery driving without a license and disorderly conduct. Oliveira was charged with domestic assault and battery and disorderly conduct. The arrests were made on Sherman Street.
  • At 1:08 a.m. a Mason Street business owner told police he believed someone had just broken into his business and that person was now sitting in the garage. Police arrested Scott M. Gilbert, 32, 59 Walnut St., Peabody, and charged him with breaking and entering in the night for felony and malicious destruction of property over $250.
  • At 2:39 a.m. a woman reported her boyfriend missing. She later called back when she heard from him.
  • At 2:41 a.m. Luis R. Baez, 27, 47 Woodman St., Lynn, was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol. 
  • At 10:29 a.m. a live deer was spotted in the median on Rt. 128. The deer was gone when police arrived.
  • At 10:33 a.m. the uprooting of various lawn ornaments was reported.
  • At 1:20 p.m. a lost chocolate lab was reported on Elmwood Circle. The dog was gone when police arrived.
  • At 4:27 p.m. a man told police someone had put pizza all over his girlfriend's car the night before while it was parked at the Forest Street Park.
  • At 6:44 p.m. a resident of Sunset Drive reported a fire under a pine tree. Police found the fire had been set by a group fishing. The Fire Department extinguished the fire. 
  • At 10:59 p.m. police responded to a report of a car into a pole on Lowell Street. There were no injuries. 

Monday, Sep. 5

  • At 12:32 a.m. a resident of Lowell Street reported someone looking in her windows. Police did not find anyone in the area.
  • Motor vehicle break-ins were reported on Foster Street, Meade Street and Azalea Lane.
