'The Need Is Great This Year': Peabody Police Holiday Toy Drive

Peabody police will look to "fill the cruisers" with Christmas toy donations on Dec. 8 at Higgins Middle School.

PEABODY, MA — Citing great need for toy donations this year, the Peabody Police Department will host its holiday collection event at Higgins Middle School on Dec. 8.

"The need is great this year Peabody," police said. "Let's see how much we can help."

The drive to benefit Peabody elementary school students will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Residents are asked to drop off a new, unwrapped toy at Higgins Middle School that day or at the 24/7 collection box in the lobby of the Peabody Police Department.
