Peabody Route 128 Crash With Injuries Blocks Lanes, Causes Heavy Delays
The crash was blocking two travel lanes in one direction and one lane in the other at about 9:30 a.m.
PEABODY, MA — A crash reportedly with injuries on Route 128 North in Peabody contributed to a long early drive on the North Shore on Wednesday.
The crash occurred about 9:30 a.m. near the Centennial Drive Exit 38 with WBZ-AM reporting injuries and lanes taken in both directions. The left and center travel lanes were blocked on the northbound side and one lane was blocked on the southbound side with heavy delays reported in each direction.
The crash comes after an earlier morning crash on Route 128 Beverly also caused a headache during the morning commute.
