Peabody Route 1 North Reopens After Thursday Morning Crash
State Police said the truck crash at the jughandle caused minor injuries and caused a detour for more than an hour.
PEABODY, MA — Route 1 northbound in Peabody reopened at about 10:15 a.m. after it was shut down for more than an hour during Thursday's morning commute because of a truck crash.
State Police said at about 9 a.m. that the crash near the jughandle caused minor injuries and that crews were working to clear the scene.
The state Department of Transportation said traffic was being detoured onto Route 1 southbound near Route 128.
