Peabody Downtown Parking Lot Construction Set For Friday
Parts of the two affected lots will be blocked off to remove parking meters in preparation for the installation of new pay kiosks.

PEABODY, MA — Two main parking lots in downtown Peabody will be under construction on Friday for the removal of legacy parking meters and to prepare the installation of new parking pay kiosks.
The Main Street lot between Brother's Deli and Walgreens, and the Main Brain library parking lot, will be under construction throughout the day on Friday. While the lots will remain open, portions of each lot could be blocked off during the course of the day.
The city said the meter removal work is expected to be limited to Friday only.
