Peabody Farm Avenue Bridge Traffic Diversion Set To Begin In April
The state Department of Transportation said the work set to begin April 1 will last until September.
PEABODY, MA — Work to fix the Farm Avenue bridge over Route 95 in Peabody will begin in April and continue with one-lane alternating traffic for the next five months.
The state Department of Transportation said lane closures will begin on April 1 at 7 a.m. Work to rehabilitate and preserve the bridge is expected to last until September.
Work will consist of the removal of the pavement and subsequent concrete deck repairs as needed.

It will also include the installation of new bridge pavement, bridge joints, sidewalk repairs, and guardrail improvements.
This work is part of a $11.4 million bridge Rehabilitation project comprised of six individual bridges over Interstate 95, Interstate 495 and Route 1, in the towns of Boxford, Merrimac and Peabody.
