Peabody Parking Lot Closed For Meter Removal Monday
The Foster Street lot will be closed to allow preparation for the installation of new parking kiosks and EV charging stations.
PEABODY, MA — Peabody residents and those who work downtown are advised that the Foster Street municipal parking lot will be closed on Monday for the removal of parking meters and preparation for the installation of new parking kiosks and electric vehicle charging stations.
Those who typically park at Foster Street are advised to park in the Central Street lot across from the district courthouse next to Dunkin, the Main Street lot next to Brother's Deli, and the Mill Street lot behind the Peabody Institute Library across the Post Office.
The Foster Street lot will partially reopen on Tuesday. The new parking equipment is expected to be fully installed by Oct. 30.
