All Lanes Reopen On Peabody Route 1 After Truck Rollover
UPDATE: Traffic was being detoured onto Route 128 after a truck hit a bridge.

UPDATED 10:40 a.m.
PEABODY, MA — All lanes reopened on Route 1 northbound in Peabody at about 10:15 a.m. on Wednesday morning after a truck rollover closed the road for nearly an hour late in the morning commute.
The truck rollover forced the detour of traffic onto Route 128.

The truck hit a bridge with the Massachusetts Department of Transportation saying that a bridge inspection team was dispatched to evaluate any damage caused by the bridge strike.
The road was closed near the Lake Street overpass.

Traffic was backed up into Saugus as of about 8:45 but began to ease once the left lane was able to get by the scene of the rollover at about 9:30.
