Resident Fights With Trash Truck Driver

The following is an excerpt from the Peabody Police log:
Tuesday, Oct. 25
- At 4:41 p.m. police responded to Foster Street after a motorist called police and reported an elderly woman walked through the square without any regard to traffic or oncoming cars. Police did not locate the woman.
- An 18-year-old Salem resident was issued a summons for shoplifting from at 6:23 p.m.
- At 9:48 p.m. Peabody Police Police did not locate the suspect.

- At 7:25 a.m. police aided DPW on Andover Street.
- At 11:14 a.m. police responded to a minor accident without injury at Taylor and Lowell streets.
- At 11:45 a.m. a resident got into a fight with a trash truck driver on Andover Terrace.
- A resident reported another resident dumping something down the sewer on Newbury Street at noon. Police spoke to the person, who said he was just clearing the storm drain for winter.
- At 2 p.m. police responded to a minor accident on Andover Street.
