Benchmark at Hanover Executive Director Receives “President’s Award"

Benchmark, the largest senior housing provider in New England, today announced that Fatima Feliciano, CDAL, of East Bridgewater, Mass., executive director of Benchmark at Hanover, an assisted living and Mind & Memory Care community, has received the Benchmark 2023 President’s Award, which is the Waltham-based company’s highest honor for associates in a senior leadership role.

At the company’s 20th Annual Awards Gala held on March 9, 2023, Feliciano was selected for exhibiting outstanding operational leadership in opening Benchmark at Hanover, the company’s latest development, which opened in October 2022.

It’s her direction that has created an environment in which Benchmark at Hanover’s strong team of associates are wholly committed to the company’s high standards and making its residents feel at home. Residents and their families expressed high satisfaction for the community because of Feliciano’s stewardship.

One family member wrote, “The entire team evokes an atmosphere of dignified and quality care for all the residents. Our observation is of a community of residents that have become neighbors and friends. We are happy to find such a great living alternative for our brother.”

Feliciano initially joined Benchmark in 2018 as the executive director of Benchmark Senior Living at Plymouth Crossings before being selected in 2021 to open Benchmark at Hanover. Prior to Benchmark, Feliciano, a Certified Director of Assisted Living (CDAL), had a career in residential property management for more than a decade. It was a profession in which she excelled, but she felt something was missing, which is what brought her to Benchmark and assisted living.
