Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cape Cod & the Islands Seeking More Volunteers in Plymouth
Waiting Little Campaign Features 11-Year-Old Connor from Plymouth

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cape Cod & the Islands (BBBSCCI) is looking to engage the community in supporting local Plymouth youth waiting for a mentor. This initiative includes BBBSCCI highlighting local youth as part of their “Waiting Little Campaign.”
This month, the campaign features 11-year-old Connor. Connor has been on the agency’s waitlist for the right Big Brother for nearly 2 years. Connor is an outgoing kid. He loves to play sports, collect baseball and basketball cards, play video games, and spend time with friends. The sixth grader is an aspiring entrepreneur. He recently created his own business melting down bottle caps to create unique coasters and cutting boards.
"I’d really like to have a consistent Big Brother in my life - someone to hang out with, play and watch sports with, and have new experiences with,” says 11-year-old Connor.

Becoming a Big is simple and the agency welcomes youth and adults of all races, ethnicities, cultures, socio-economic backgrounds, genders, sexual orientations, and abilities. Volunteers must be 18 years old or older, possess a valid drivers license, and be able to commit a few hours a few times a month for at least a year and have a passion for positively impacting a young person’s life.
