DPW Day at the Library Today

Take the kids to the library today to see many of the DPW's trucks and more.

The Plymouth Department of Public Works will hold the eighth annual DPW Day at the Plymouth Public Library, rain or shine, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today.

The theme for this year’s National Public Works Week is “Because of Public Works.” DPW Day will feature a display of public works equipment – including a bucket truck, a loader, a sweeper truck, a plow and much more – in the library parking lot at 132 South St.

The library’s Otto Fehlow meeting room will feature department displays with maps and materials important to the infrastructure of the town of Plymouth – roads, bridges, signals, mapping, the beaches and much more.
