Five Things You Need to Know Today: May 14
The Plymouth Public Library will host a reading and book signing by author/actress/screenwriter Marianne Leone Cooper at 7 p.m. tonight.

1. Plymouth's Run for 1 to support Boston's One Fund, takes place at 10 a.m., Saturday, May 25 starting at Pilgrim Memorial Park on the waterfront. The entry is fee is $25 per person or register a team for $100. Participants are encouraged to donate more.
2. The Plymouth Public Library will host a reading and book signing by author/actress/screenwriter Marianne Leone Cooper at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, at 132 South St., in the Otto Fehlow meeting room. Cooper will discuss her book, Jesse: A Mother’s Story. Books will be available for purchase and signing at the conclusion of the program.
3. The Old Colony YMCA-Plymouth branch will be holding a Camp Open House at Camp Clark from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, May 14. All are welcome to visit to learn more information about our summer camp, and tour the 83 acres Camp Clark has to offer, including: private pond, ropes course, hiking trails, NEW ball field, pavilion, media cabin, music cabin, and arts & crafts cabin, along with much more. Camp Clark is committed to following a curriculum that focuses on a wide range of subjects, including science, math, and literacy, alongside a traditional day camp experience. We welcome campers ages 4-15 years old. Bus transportation is available to and from camp. 4. Sylvia's by the Sea and Charles David Salon & Spa at The Pinehills present the first-ever Summer Fashion Show showcasing trendy swim and casualwear for both men and women. Taking place from 7-9 p.m. at One Village Green North at The Pinehills Village Green. Tickets are $10 and on sale at Sylvia's by the Sea at The Pinehills at the three Charles David Salon & Spas. Proceeds will benefit the One Fund Boston and Learn Live Love Cancer Outreach.
