PLYMOUTH, MA — This Wednesday the Friendly's in Plymouth will celebrate two boys who helped save their neighbors by alerting them of the fire happening in their home in late August. Brothers Chayce, 11, and Ayden, 15, were hailed as heroes after the blaze, which occurred early morning on Aug. 22, according to the Patriot Ledger. They alerted their sleeping neighbors of the fire on Rocky Hill Road after ensuring 911 was called.

Friendly's will celebrate Chayce and Ayden on Wednesday, Oct. 9, from noon to 2 p.m., at the Plymouth location at 47 Long Pond Road.

Friendly's officials say the celebration event is being held as part of its company-wide Acts of Friendly-ness initiative that aims to give back to communities by celebrating its most "Friendly" patrons.
