Girl, 16, Dies In I-495 Rollover Crash: State Police
The single-car crash happened late Monday night. State police are still investigating the cause.
WAREHAM, MA — State police are investigating the death of a 16-year-old girl who was involved in a rollover along I-495 late Monday night.
The crash happened just before 11 p.m. in the southbound lanes near Wareham. According to police, the teen's Toyota minivan left the road and veered into the median. The minivan then rolled down a bank and hit a tree.
The 16-year-old, who is from Raynham, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The girl's death was the third along the stretch of I-495 approaching Cape Cod since the weekend. Early Saturday morning, two people died in a five-car crash in Mansfield, according to state police.
