Meet A Future Leader In Plymouth: Lauren Trostel

The future of Plymouth is looking bright, thanks to the incredible young people working to strengthen our community. In partnership with T-Mobile, Patch is proud to spotlight future leaders like Lauren Trostel, who are making a positive impact in and around Plymouth.

Lauren Trostel is a standout young leader in Plymouth, recognized for her exceptional academic and athletic achievements. As a graduating senior from Plymouth South High School, she was awarded the 2024 Tech Etch Scholarship and committed to pursuing an biomedical engineering degree at Wentworth Institute of Technology.

In addition to her academic success, Lauren’s athletic accomplishments speak volumes about her leadership and dedication. As one of the top hitters in the Patriot League Fisher Division, she consistently demonstrates skill and determination.

“Lauren leads by example. She is modest, and puts her team first,” her coach told Wicked Local. “She balances being competitive, while demonstrating the utmost sportsmanship.” A four-year varsity player in both field hockey and softball, Lauren’s unwavering commitment to her teams and her ability to balance sportsmanship with a fierce work ethic make her a standout young leader in Plymouth, both on and off the field.
