Paving Operations On Portion Of Long Pond Road To Begin On November 15 In Plymouth

The public is advised to drive with caution and plan for traffic delays and temporary access restrictions.

The Town of Plymouth’s Department of Public Works (“DPW”) seeks to notify residents and visitors that, beginning Monday, November 15, 2021, paving contractor Rochester Bituminous will begin work on the milling, leveling, and paving of the roadway surface on a portion of Long Pond Road, in the area between 863 Long Pond Road and the intersection of Hedges Pond Road.

Barring inclement weather and unforeseen circumstances, work is expected to take place between Monday, November 15th through Thursday, November 18th, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

During the scheduled work, the DPW and the contractor will make every effort to keep traffic flowing in both directions, but detours may be required.

In such instances, the DPW will work with the contractor and the Plymouth Police Department’s detail officers on the placement of barrels and detour signage, to keep traffic flowing as smoothly as possible.
