On Saturday, Feb. 12, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Plymouth Public Health Department and Office of Emergency Management will be distributing at-home COVID-19 test kits to residents at two locations in town.

Residents can pick up the kits at either the Plymouth Town Hall’s Great Hall (second floor by the Collector’s Office), 26 Court St., or the Emergency Operations Center, 2209 State Road.Â

Any Plymouth resident is eligible to receive a kit, which includes two tests. Residents are limited to two self-test kits per resident (four tests in total). Kits will be distributed on a first-come-first-serve basis while supplies last. Residents will be required to show proof of residency when picking up the self-test kits.

At-home COVID-19 rapid antigen tests are a fast, easy, and convenient way to screen for COVID-19. If the result of a test is positive, the test-taker should follow the guidelines for a positive case by isolating for at least 10 days and informing all close contacts (those individuals who have been within 6 feet of you for more than 15 minutes in a 24-hour period).
