Plymouth Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary Hosts Spring Luncheon.
Celebrity chef & meteorologist team up for Plymouth Salvation Army luncheon to benefit youth programs on May 22nd, 2024!

Coe, a four-time champion on the Food Network's "Chopped," will be preparing a special menu for the luncheon.Longtime media personality Lemanowicz will serve as the guest speaker.
"We're excited to partner with these two local celebrities who are familiar with our work," said Envoy Anne Rich, of The Salvation Army of Plymouth. "The event has already sold out, and it's bringing in new supporters while raising awareness within our community."
Funds raised will directly benefit children served by The Salvation Army. This includes scholarships to Camp Wonderland in Sharon, MA, providing a memorable and affordable summer camp experience for local youth.Additionally, proceeds will go towards supplying hundreds of children with back-to-school essentials.

"The Luncheon is a wonderful opportunity to unite people from across the South Shore," said Lucinda Carpenter,President of the Women's Auxiliary and a volunteer with The Salvation Army for over 12 years. "Everyone from local business leaders to retirees enjoys this event, knowing it supports some of our area's most vulnerable children."
The Women's Auxiliary is a volunteer-driven group that raises funds and supports The Salvation Army's mission through various philanthropic efforts. Women of all ages and backgrounds are welcome to join their ranks.

"These ladies dedicate themselves to fundraising events throughout the year," said Rich. "We're incredibly grateful for their hard work and unwavering support."
The Luncheon will be held at the American Legion Post 40 on 199 Federal Furnace Road in Plymouth.
