Plymouth South Teachers Work Together to Challenge Students
Plymouth South teachers work together to challenge their students to run a food drive and collect the most items.

Plymouth South High School English teacher Debra Greene and Graphic Arts teacher Jennifer Ayers combined their sophomore advisory classes together for a food drive benefitting the Greater Plymouth Food Warehouse. During their advisory block, these students challenged students in other advisories to collect items.
As part of a field trip to the food warehouse, winners from science teacher Katherine Marks’ and automotive teacher Frank Viera’s advisories joined classes from Greene’s and Ayers’ to learn more about collecting, sorting, and distributing items. In addition they weighed, date-checked, and organized the items they brought. Their contributions, they learned, would make a difference in the lives of 87 families.
