Route 24 Crash: Woman Medflighted; Child Injured
Massachusetts State Police said three people were injured in a Bridgewater crash on Route 24.

BRIDGEWATER, MA — Three people were injured — one seriously — in a crash in Bridgewater on Route 24 Sunday afternoon. The crash happened on the southbound side of the highway at about 4:15 p.m., according to Massachusetts State Police.
"Preliminary investigation ... indicates that a 36-year-old New Bedford man was traveling on Route 24 Southbound in a 2000 Toyota Corolla when, for reasons still under investigation, the vehicle left the roadway and crashed into the wood-line," police said in a statement.
The driver and a 46-year-old passenger were ejected from the vehicle, police said. The passenger was seriously injured and medflighted to Tufts Medical Center in Boston. The driver and a 10-year-old passenger were transported to Good Samaritan Medical Center.
