Five things you need to know in Plymouth on Wednesday, September 18.

1. Wednesday will be sunny with a high around 70 in Plymouth, according to the National Weather Service.

2. Luke Hinkle, President of My Generation Energy, will speak at the Plymouth Public Library on Wednesday, at 6:30 p.m., about the state of solar technology.

3. The Evening Garden Club of Plymouth will meet Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the John Alden Sportsman Club. David Gould, Town of Plymouth Environmental Director, will discuss river restoration in Plymouth.

4. A Girl Scouts registration event will be held Wednesday evening at 7 at Federal Furnace School. The event is for girls in Federal Furnace and West schools.

5. The Plymouth Cultural Council will hold its monthly meeting Wednesday at 8:15. The council will discuss 2014 grants at 134 Court Street.
