Witches, Ghouls and Goblins Expected to Hit the Streets of Plymouth

The Second Annual Trick or Trot 5K is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 26.

The Second Annual Trick or Trot 5K, a road race with a spooky twist, is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 26, at Burial Hill.

The race, which encourages runner to wear costumes, will benefit The Arc of Greater Plymouth.

Race day registration and number pickup will be held at the starting line, beginning at 7:30 a.m. The run will start at 9 a.m.

The Trick or Trot, which is presented by Bayside Runner and South Shore Race Management, will provide the following awards:

Overall Top 3 Male and Female Finishers.

Medals to top 3 in each age group (15 & under, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+).

Awards to the first finisher in the following costume categories:
1. Wickedest Witch (for witches of all personalities – the good, the bad and the ugly)
2. Most Mobile Mummy (includes skeletons, ghosts, ghouls and goblins)
3. Savior of the Planet (for our super hereos and caped crusaders)
4. From A Land Far, Far Away (calling all Cinderellas, Pinocchios and  Prince Charmings – all fairy tale characters from movies and books)
