Burglary at Grove Street House

The following is an excerpt from the  log from Friday through Sunday. The information is open to the public.

Friday, March 9

  • At 1:58 p.m., a Main Street resident reported that her car was keyed overnight.
  • At 2:55 p.m., a caller reported a motor vehicle crash on Woburn Street.
  • At 5:10 p.m., a Reading resident reported that a group of youths were in the area of Bolton Street with spray paint. Spray paint was found on the back of her son's car and on the street. Police spoke with the youths' parents.

Saturday, March 10

  • At 9:03 a.m., a caller reported a car accident on Lowell Street. 
  • At 12:37 p.m., a caller reported a minor car accident on Walkers Brook Drive.
  • At 1:47 p.m., a Pearl Street resident reported that $10 in change was taken from his vehicle.
  • At 2:29 p.m., an Archstone Circle resident reported that his car was keyed and egged overnight.
  • At 5:39 p.m., a caller reported suspicious activity on Lowell Street. The caller thought he saw one male pass money to another. An officer spoke to both parties and searched their bags, but did not find any contraband.
  • At 7:43 p.m., a caller reported a man stumbling down Summer Avenue. The man was place into protective custody.

Sunday, March 11

  • At 9:26 p.m., a Grove Street resident returned home to find her door kicked in. Two televisions and a laptop were missing. Police are investigating.
