Proceeds will go to the Friends of North Reading Parks and Recreation Committee for a future community center in town. Sears donated a Kenmore four-burner, stainless steel gas grill to the Friends of North Reading Parks and Recreation Committee to raffle off. Tickets can be purchased after 2 p.m. at the store for $2 each or $3 for five. The grill will be raffled off between 8:30 and 9 p.m. You dont have to be present to win. Sears will also raffle off a $50 gift card. All of the money raised during the raffle will benefit fields, facilities, programs and development of the Community Center. Stop by Sears for their Spring Friends and Family Sale between 6 and 9 p.m. that evening. Customers will receive 15 percent off everything in the store, including sale items, said Store Manager Kevin MacMaster. There are also some additional sales including 20 percent off Kenmore appliances.
