Five Things to Do This Weekend
A comedy show, battle of the bands and ham and bean supper are on tap this weekend.

Looking for something to do this weekend? Here are some ideas:
Where/when: , Saturday at 7:00 p.m.
Why go: Enjoy music played by six bands, in middle and high school from North Reading and surrounding towns. The bands will compete for a grand prize of $200 to the Guitar Center.
Where/when: , Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
Why go: Support the Bring Back the 4th Committee by attending their Comedy Night. Tickets are $20 and include three comedians, light refreshments before and after the show as well as a cash bar. All proceeds will be used to fund the fireworks at the upcoming 4th of July celebration.

Why go: Enjoy homemade beans, chili, clam chowder, hot dogs, chili cheese dogs, chili fries, mac and cheese and pie. The cost is $6 for adults and $4 for kids.

Why go: Dads, moms and other caregivers are welcome to enjoy stories and sweet treats in the Activity Room.

Why go: Stop by Grumpy Doyle's on Main Street in Reading for a Team Hoyt fundraiser. The Noel Henry Band will play live music and the Carney Academy Irish Step Dancers will perform. There will be a silent auction, raffles, and appetizers.
