Kids Remove Bathtub from Woods

The following is a look at some of the calls handled by the  from Monday through Tuesday. The information is open to the public.

Monday, March 5

  • At 11:05 a.m., an unknown caller reported a man hitchhiking on Main Street.
  • At 6:14 p.m., a North Reading resident reported seeing a group of kids removing a bathtub from the woods near Bishops Way. Police investigated and found only the legs of the tub.
  • At 7:37 p.m., an unknown caller reported a missing TV and other items from the condo he is renovating on Main Street.
  • At 8:16 p.m., a Lowell Road resident reported being disturbed by noise on a regular basis by the apartments near his and he is moving out.

Tuesday, March 6

  • At 1:54 a.m., a Lowell Road resident reported hearing what he thought was a key hitting his window repeatedly. Police checked the area, but didn't find anyone near the apartment.
  • At 9:23 a.m., an unknown caller reported a car accident on Park Street.
  • At 11:42 a.m., a Lakeside Boulevard resident reported that her bank card was stolen.
