Lynnfield Resident Arrested for Operating Under the Influence

Arrests
At 6:16 p.m. Sunday, as the result of a traffic stop on Pearl Street, Patrick Hathaway, 55, of 241 Pearl Street was arrested for operating a motor vehicle with a license suspended for operating under the influence.

At 9:55 p.m. Sunday, as the result of a traffic stop on Main Street, Dmitry Torchinsky, 33, of 1620 Bayridge in Brooklyn, New York was arrested for operating a motor vehicle without being licensed and defective equipment (broken tail light).

- At 1:47 a.m., a Barrows Road resident reported loud music from a house party. Police spoke to the people throwing the party and told them to quiet down.
- At 9:02 a.m., an Eastway resident reported that a bike was stolen from their locked garage.
- At 12:34 p.m., a caller reported a car accident on Main Street. No injuries were reported.
- At 4:51 p.m., a caller reported a car accident on Main Street. One car hit the curb, causing two tires to blow.
- At 6:09 p.m., a caller reported several syringes found on Charles Street. Police disposed of the syringes.
- At 9:52 p.m., a caller reported a hypodermic needle found on Walkers Brook Drive.
Saturday, May 26
- At 12:52 a.m., while doing a building check an officer saw two young males run into the woods on Walkers Brook Drive. One of the males admitted to smoking marijuana earlier in the day, but no evidence of the marijuana was found. His parents were notified.
- At 12:58 a.m., an officer came across three males in a car on Walkers Brook Drive. The parents of the males were notified to pick up their kids who were issued a by-law violation for possession of under one ounce of a class D substance.
- At 2:19 a.m., a caller reported a loud house party in the High Street area. Police checked the area, but did not find anything.
- At 11:45 a.m., a Zachary Lane resident reported that two of his window screens were cut.
- At 6:48 p.m., a Woburn Street resident reported that $20 in change was taken from his vehicle.
- At 6:53 p.m., a caller reported that youths were entering the basement of a house on Colonial Drive and that the family who owns the house is out of town. The five minors said that they had permission from two males who lived in the house to use their backyard while they were away. All five minors were summonsed for the possession of alcohol, and their parents were notified.
Sunday, May 27
- At 12:30 a.m., a caller reported a car accident on Main Street. No injuries were reported.
- At 9:05 a.m., a caller reported a car accident on General Way. No injuries were reported.
- At 11:55 a.m., a caller reported that his car was hit while parked on Arthur B. Lord Drive. There was damage to the front bumper and license plate.
- At 6:43 p.m., a caller reported a car accident on Salem Street. No injuries were reported.
- At 11:13 p.m., a caller reported three youths moving construction barrels into the street. Another caller reported three youths setting off fireworks on Woburn Street. Police spoke to the youths who denied both incidents and stated that it was younger kids that were involved. Police were unable to locate the younger kids.
Monday, May 28
- At 12:16 a.m., a caller reported a loud house party on Summer Avenue. Police spoke to the homeowner who agreed to quiet down for the night.
- At 2:21 a.m., a Lewis Street resident reported a suspicious vehicle in the area occupied by two males. Police were unable to find the vehicle.
- At 12:44 p.m., a caller reported that the cargo rack on his vehicle was stolen while parked on Main Street.
- At 1:13 p.m., a caller reported a motorcycle accident on Pleasant Street. An inexperienced motorcycle driver accelerated down a hill and drove into bushes and into the back yard of a house on Pleasant Street. No injuries or damages to the house were reported.
- At 1:35 p.m., a Maple Ridge Road resident reported that his tires were slashed overnight.
- At 2:18 p.m., a caller reported a car accident on Main Street. No injuries were reported.
