Wales died at the age of 101 on February 22, 2012, at his home in Beverly.  Fred Wales was a teacher of Fine and Industrial Arts at Reading Memorial High School and retired in 1984. An informal memorial gathering and celebration is planed for Sunday, March 18, 2012, 12:30pm to 4:30pm at the Cove Community Center in Beverly Cove - (19 East Corning Street, Beverly, MA 01915). This is a wonderful opportunity to share with friends and family the stories and gratitude for a man who influenced the lives and journeys of so many students.
