Is the nominee considered an “essential worker”?

Yes

What does the nominee do for work?

MGH Nurse

Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?

She is a brave single mother of three children, RHS, RMS, RES, this alone makes her a hero, but going into work at MGH ER Ops(working at MGH at least 15 years) also, changing in the garage to keep the children safe. Staying away from our 93 yr old mother (heartbreaking) it is amazing the courage she shows. She deserves the support she received from neighbors (clapping pans for her) her fiancé, as much as he can as he has to stay healthy to work. After she works as many nurses do two 12 hour shifts, I wish I could have a meal for her when she got home to share with her children, as I know she has energy, to carefully shed her hospital virus gear then collapse .

What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?

She continues staying positive, smiling and getting through it.
