New Youth Librarian Emma Weiler

The library has a new staff member; Youth Librarian Emma Weiler started on January 3.

Emma Weiler started the new year off by joining the team at the  as their new youth librarian. The well educated librarian is happy to be working in town and hopes that residents will stop by and introduce themselves.

Originally from Cambridge, Weiler attended Le Moyne College in New York and received her bachelor's degree in history. She also has a master's degree from Tufts in American history.

After getting married and starting a family, she decided to return to school to gain a Master of Library Science in young adult and reference services from the University of Rhode Island. While studying for her third degree, she worked part-time at the Cambridge Public Library for seven years.
