One Arrested for Driving Under the Influence

Arrests
At 5:50 p.m. on Friday, Wendy Florence, 38, of 39 Chestnut Street was arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence of liquor and with a revoked license on Chestnut Street.

Friday, Jan. 20
- At 4:10 p.m., a Westward Circle resident reported a water main break on Westward Circle. The Department of Public Works responded and fixed the break.
- At 6:47 p.m., a Main Street resident reported that her front and rear car tires were slashed.

- At 9:00 a.m., a North Reading resident reported that he was the victim of a hit and run on Thursday in the parking lot.
- At 9:17 a.m., an unknown caller reported that a car hit a tree on Park Street.
- At 12:44 p.m., an unknown caller reported a motor vehicle accident on Main Street.
- At 2:11 p.m., an unknown caller reported a motor vehicle accident on Concord Street.
- At 2:50 p.m., an unknown caller reported a minor motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Burroughs Road and Poplar Terrace.
Sunday, Jan. 22
- At 6:35 p.m., a Burroughs Road resident reported hearing several gun shots near Martins Pond. Police investigated, but found no signs of gun shots or fireworks.
