Pulled False Alarm Results in Arrest

The following is a look at some of the calls handled by the North Reading Police Department from Wednesday through Thursday. The information is open to the public.

Arrests

At 8:18 a.m. on Wednesday, Kathryn Tateronis, 47, of 3 Oscars Way, was arrested for a false call from a fire alarm box and disturbing the peace on Lowell Road.

Wednesday, Feb. 15

  • At 2:08 p.m., a caller reported a male party entered Christopher's Market and took photos. When confronted, the male caused a disturbance.
  • At 5:14 p.m., a North Reading resident reported that ther daughter was threatened at the high school.
  • At 10:32 p.m., a Lindor Road resident reported that her windshield was smashed while she was at her neighbor's house.
  • At 11:07 p.m., a 45-year-old North Reading resident was taken into protective custody on Linwood Avenue.

Thursday, Feb. 16

  • At 11:34, a Hidden Pond Lane resident reported that someone broke into her house. She found the sliding door open when she returned home. Items were left at the front door, which police believe were placed there to be stolen later. Police believe it was an interrupted break-in and are still investigating.
  • At 6:44 p.m., an officer reported a car accident on Park Street.
