Ben Hodgkins, of the United States Marine Corps, returned home from Afghanistan and was welcomed by residents Wednesday around 11 a.m. Residents lined Park Street waiving flags and holding signs for Hodgkins. along with the Patriot Guard Riders brought Hodgkins to Town Common where his younger brother Gerry's entire fourth grade class along with other students from the and , town employees, teachers and others were present to provide him with a warm welcome. "There wasn't a dry eye there," said resident Catherine DeCola. "I bet his mom will sleep well tonight."
