President and COO of Kiva Systems Will Be Key Note Speaker at Chamber’s 2012 Annual Meeting

The annual meeting will take place on Jan. 26 at the Thomson Country Club.

The Reading-North Reading Chamber of Commerce will hold its Annual Meeting on Thursday, Jan. 26, 2012 at the in North Reading.  Key note speaker is Amy Villeneuve, President and COO of Kiva Systems which is a robotic fulfillment solutions company headquartered in North Reading. 

“We wanted to give our members the opportunity to learn more about Kiva Systems and what we have for business development in North Reading,” said Chamber President Pat Lee. “The Kiva story is an inspiration to all entrepreneurs who have an idea and want to turn it into a successful business.”

Besides the presentation by the key note speaker, the meeting provides an opportunity to network with the business community, make new contacts and idea share.  The Chamber will also introduce their 2012 Executive Committee and Board of Directors before giving an overview of the Chamber’s mission and reviewing the 2012 calendar of events.

“The Chamber is about making connections within our community and promoting buying locally.   We have many events and opportunities for our members to get involved especially during our first quarter,” said Executive Director Irene Collins.  “Non-members and the public are invited to attend this meeting and learn about the advantages of Chamber membership.”

The meeting will take place from 7:30 – 9:30 am and includes a hot breakfast buffet. All Chamber members and the public are invited to the meeting.
