Syringe Found on Lowell Road

The following is a look at some of the calls handled by the  from Monday through Tuesday. The information is open to the public.

Monday, Feb. 6

  • At 9:04 a.m., an unknown caller reported that a woman stole an item from . Police contacted the woman and it turns out that she brought the item in question in to match a replacement.
  • At 5:47 p.m., a Texas resident called to report that he purchased two batteries online from a company with the name Shop Extreme located on Main Street. The Texas resident has paid for the batteries, but has not received them. Police were able to get in touch with the company and the owner said he would contact the customer.

Tuesday, Feb. 7

  • At 8:50 a.m., an unknown caller reported a syringe found on Lowell Road. Police retrieved the item.
  • At 2:29 p.m., an unknown caller reported that baseball players were hitting balls onto Route 62 from the field in front of the . The Parks and Recreation director was listening to the radio traffic and spoke with the players.
