Two Reading Residents Arrested for Transporting Alcohol Underage

The following is a look at some of the calls handled by the from Friday through Sunday. The information is open to the public.
Arrests
At 3:58 p.m., Charles Alexander McRae, 18, of 35 Mark Avenue in Reading, was arrested for transporting alcohol underage and misuse of a license. Logan Hughes, 17, of 212 West Street in Reading, was arrested for transporting alcohol underage. Both arrests occured on Main Street.

Friday, March 2
- At 10:57 a.m., an emergency caller reported a car accident on Burroughs Road.
- At 3:33 p.m., a North Reading resident reported damage to his grandmother's mailbox and fence on Haverhill Street.
- At 5:23 p.m., an unknown caller reported kids smoking marijuana on Lowell Road and hung up before answering any questions.

- At 1:57 a.m., an unknown caller reported a single car accident on Park Street.
- At 11:32 a.m., a North Reading resident reported damage to his mother's mailbox on Marblehead Street.
- At 10:52 p.m., an emergency caller reported damage to his vehicle.
Sunday, March 4
- At 12:04 p.m., an Oakdale Road resident reported that some of the mailboxes on his street were damaged overnight.
