President Obama is leading an interfaith service today in the South End at 11 a.m.

- Tonight is the first Third Thursday in Roslindale Village with deals, sales, entertainment, food and drink tastings and more!

- Also tonight is Rozzie Reads Open Poetry Mic at the Select Cafe from 7-9 p.m. Van Dorio is the featured poet of the evening. Dorio is a member of the Carpenter Poets of Jamaica Plain, who write poetry about their work as carpenters. 2 Belgrade Ave.
- Buddies are wanted for the Jason Roberts Challenger League. Volunteers are needed one or two days a week, Monday through Thursday, 5:30-7:30 p.m. starting April 22 through May 31. Call Bill Hubbard at 617-364-9249.
- There's also Toddler Storytime and Singalongat the Roslindale Library today from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Free.
