5 Things: The First Third Thursday is Tonight in Roslindale Village

1. Tonight is the first Third Thursday in Roslindale Village with deals, sales, entertainment, food and drink tastings and more! 
2. President Obama is leading an interfaith service today in the South End at 11 a.m.
3. Also tonight is Rozzie Reads Open Poetry Mic at the Select Cafe from 7-9 p.m. Van Dorio is the featured poet of the evening. Dorio is a member of the Carpenter Poets of Jamaica Plain, who write poetry about their work as carpenters. 2 Belgrade Ave.
4. Buddies are wanted for the Jason Roberts Challenger League. Volunteers are needed one or two days a week, Monday through Thursday, 5:30-7:30 p.m. starting April 22 through May 31. Call Bill Hubbard at 617-364-9249.
5. There's also Toddler Storytime and Singalongat the Roslindale Library today from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Free.
