As a part of World Book Night on Monday, six Roslindale residents will be handing out 20 free books in front of The Village Market. The Roslindale location is just o<a href="http://www.us.worldbooknight.org/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">ne of many across the country and world</a> where books will be given out as part of the international event.  "The Friends of Roslindale Library are delighted to be participating in this worldwide event and to help make a wide range of new books available to Roslindale residents through the giveaway next week," said Laura Gang, from Friends of the Roslindale Library. The goal in addition to supporting World Book Night, is to promote reading and the use of the public library in Roslindale, added Gang. The books will be handed out at 26 Corinth St., from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., and each resident will distribute 20 free books each.
