Autopsy: Multiple Gunshots Killed Roslindale Man

Jarvis Gilmore, 22, of Roslindale, was shot dead on Christmas.

 

Multiple gunshot wounds was listed as the official cause of death for a Roslindale man, who was murdered on Christmas night.

According to a Boston Police report, Jarvis Gilmore's death has been officially ruled a homicide by Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Henry Nields.

Gilmore, 22, of Roslindale, was found around 8:30 p.m. on Dec. 25, 2012, after police were called for a person shot in the area of 20 Brookway Terrace.

Upon arrival, an officer described seeing Boston EMTS and an officer approach the victim laying face down on the ground on the footpatch between Brookway Terrace and Bradeen Street, according to a Boston Police report. It was obvious the victim had been shot, and was quickly pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim was positively identified by family members at the medical examiner's office.
