- The Boston Bandits softball team is a traveling girls softball team during the summer and tryouts are happening at the West Roxbury Education Complex from Aug. 19-23.

- Roslindale Village Main Street invites new residents to a free afternoon social at Redd's in Rozzie on Sat., September 14 at 2 p.m. Get to know your neighbors while sipping craft beers and enjoying delicious locally sourced fare.
- Volunteers are needed for the Alzheimer’s Association Greater Boston Walk to End Alzheimer’s on Sunday, Sept. 29, beginning at Canal Park at the CambridgeSide Galleria in Cambridge. Money raised by Walk to End Alzheimer’s helps to provide care and support for individuals and families touched by Alzheimer’s and to fund Alzheimer’s care, support, and research.
