Man Charged with Intent to Murder, After Turning Self In for Roslindale Shooting

A Dorchester man has been charged with two counts of assault to murder, after turning himself in to Boston Police for allegedly shooting an individual on Brook Street on April 29. 

Conrad Blake, 35, of Dorchester, was arrested and charged with two counts of assault with the intent to murder, according to BPDnews.com.

About 9:07 a.m., on April 29, people were called to 3 Brook Street for a shooting, and found a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Witnesses told Boston Police they heard a dispute about money being owed, and that the suspect had come to the location several times looking for the victim, who had not been home.

The suspect then fled on foot. 

Boston Police did not comment on whether reports of a fight with shots being fired one night earlier on Mt. Hope Street - one street over from Brook Street - were related to the Brook Street shooting.
